Why We Built This Site
Oregon gives the public access to many court records, but Curry County record research can still be confusing. State court case files are handled through the Oregon Judicial Department and Curry County Circuit Court. Marriage licenses, marriage certificates, domestic partnerships, recording records, and some county public records are handled by the Curry County Clerk. Jail custody records, incident reports, and some law-enforcement records are handled by the Curry County Sheriff's Office.
Curry County also has city municipal courts in Brookings, Gold Beach, and Port Orford. A citation's issuing agency or court name can decide whether the search belongs in OJD systems or with a city court. The goal is to make that split clear before someone sends a request to the wrong office.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to Curry County Circuit Court, the Curry County Clerk, the Sheriff's Office, OJD, any municipal court, or any state or federal agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file court paperwork or send public-records requests for visitors
- We cannot issue certified copies of court, marriage, divorce, probate, jail, or sheriff records
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a law applies to a specific case
- We cannot guarantee that each phone number, fee, address, hour, or procedure is current at the moment it is read
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. The document must come from that office.
